Now, this makes me very happy. Rich has been a favorite of mine for many years as I watched his West Virginia football team improve and become contenders each year for major bowls and conference championships.
Alabama went after Steve Spurrier (ick) and Nick Saban but I'm thrilled with this choice, my top choice from the beginning. Not that it matters to Athletic Director Coach Moore but hey, good job! I'm looking forward to this new era of Alabama football.
