While reading the AJC this morning I came across the story about how the ABC Extreme Homemakover crew is in the Cherokee County area fixing up a house for a local family. The family lives in Waleska, GA in an area called Lake Arrowhead.
Teresa and I know that area, we were kicked out of it a couple of weeks ago during one of our weekend driving adventures. The community has a security guard house so we decided to stop and see if we could get in. A very small and elderly lady said hello and asked what we wanted. We told her 'just to look around'. She said we needed a realtor to get in if we didn't live there. I decided that, even though we could "take her" without a problem, to leave and go find somewhere else to look around.
Now I'm sure everyone will be heading out there. We are such trendsetters, we went there BEFORE it was famous.
