Way Down Yonder on the Chattahoochee

Teresa and I stayed in the city today and went to the Chattahoochee Nature Center in Roswell, GA. It is a cool area right in the middle of 'snobby' East Cobb, near Teresa's office at Snappy Auctions. I wish we could live down there, it is a super nice area.

The nature center is a great place with birds, snakes, beavers and turtles along with a few miles of nature trails. The coolest bird was a big bald eagle in a large netted cage. It was a beautiful creature. We picked up a couple of bird feeder holders for a good price so we can begin to work on the back yard area before springtime.

After walking we went to eat at Williamson Brothers BBQ in Marietta (another one in Canton too). We've eaten there a few times but realized today that these brothers are from Talladega, AL and had a store, during the 80's, in Sylacauga, AL. That's where I was born and many of my family members either live or lived there at one time. Cool.

It's supposed to be cold tomorrow night, in the mid-teens. That will be good fireplace weather after we get home from church and a little shopping. Can't wait.
