HI MOM!!! Teresa and I want to say hi and we love you both!! We missed you guys on Mother's Day 2007.
For church this past week we went to another little church in yet another school, this one real close to the house. It was small, 100 people or so, very low keyed and as a lady sitting next to me said when she found out we were visiting, 'this is a sweet church'. True, it was sweet and nice and low keyed. The people were genuine when they said 'welcome'. The pastor was a nice guy, smooth delivery and as the lady said, it was a sweet sermon about moms. Everything was OK, we will not go back, but one thing he said was as wierd as I've ever heard in a church.
They passed out greeting cards and said "write a note to your mom, even if she is no longer on planet earth. I believe the the Holy Spirit will find a way to get that note to her, no matter where she is." That was a little creepy for me.
OK, enough sweetness for one day alright!!!
We are heading to Gatlinburg, TN this weekend for some R&R. The weather looks to be nice and cool and it will be a nice getaway together.
The cats are on their own.
