Rocky Raccoon

Last night, right at dusk, the pizza man arrived with our dinner. As I was paying him Teresa yells at me from the sun room "HONEY, COME HERE". I thought she saw a roach or something so I was not in a hurry.... A second "HONEY, COME HERE" in a more forceful tone alerted me to something different this time.

When I walked into the sunroom a raccoon was standing in the doorway, nearly completely inside the house. We left the door cracked open so the cats can go out on the screened in patio area but never thought a raccoon would come IN!!! You would think that at least on of our cats would notice this intruder but nooooo, Smudgie was in the room but didn't even look up, Maddie was waiting for food in the other room (where the pizza was).

We chased Rocky away but the rest of the evening he kept showing up outside the screen area looking around. He's cute but we've got to make sure he is not setting up a nest or something IN the house.
