We made it to Banner Elk on Thursday evening and it was SNOWING!!! Very pretty. Friday we took off up the Blue Ridge Parkway and ended up in Charlottesville, VA. Saturday we took off up thru Virginia and made it to our destination for now of Hershey, PA. Sunday it started SNOWING!!! About 1-2 inches on the ground but the roads are clear, which is great for us.
We've decided to leave Hershey early since we didn't realize the rides and park are closed Mon-Wed so there is no need to stay. We are off to Philadelphia tomorrow morning and will check out the Liberty Bell, etc. then head down to Baltimore Wednesday.
Detailed updates of each stop will be coming but since our hotel has NO fast access we are on dial-up. I remember dial-up, painfully slow.
Tomorrow Teresa and I celebrate 3 years together. Nov. 20, 2004 I married the most beautiful lady I've ever known. I love her more now than I did that day 3 years ago. Can't imagine life without her!!!
