From the Houston Chronicle today:
'Reverend' Matt Tittle, religious write in the paper says:
"I believe that Jesus lived. But I do not believe he was THE savior, as I do not believe there is any singular messiah. I believe there are many paths to the divine and to salvation. Jesus was one. The stories about him are among the most powerful ever recorded in human history, but they are not THE story for all humanity in my humble opinion."
From Israel, a story in the news:
Moses was high on drugs
" Moses was probably also on drugs when he saw the "burning bush," suggested Shanon, who said he himself has dabbled with such substances."
From Reuters:

" So the Vatican has told the faithful that they should be aware of "new" sins such as causing environmental blight."
And from the Southern Baptist today:
Southern Baptist leaders shift position on climate change
"The signatories pledged to do their part to fight global warming "without any further lingering over the basic reality of the problem or our responsibility to address it. Humans must be proactive and take responsibility for our contributions to climate change -- big and small.""
