Teresa and I again went to the NC Mountains last weekend. We had an opportunity to stay at a local community called Leatherwood for a weekend. We stayed at the Lazy Elk lodge,
WAAAAY up on top of a mountain with 360 degree views of the area mountains. We looked at property and homes in that community. It is a nice place, great privacy and a lot of horse people live there. We saw a ton of deer, a few skunks and some beautiful sights.
On Saturday we got up and drove around the Boone, Blowing Rock and Banner Elk areas just looking at homes for sale. We saw a sign for a new community called Headwaters. We met Tom who was nice enough to show us around the community. We fell in love with this community and will be going back again and again. The patience reference in the title is because of this community, we would love to move tomorrow.
We will head back to the mountains late this month, pray I don't break down and buy something.
