We've been out of touch for a while due to work and travels. We just returned from Ecuador and will be posting updates of our time in that wonderful country soon.
For now, I get back in to the political battle with a telling quote from a story in today's Atlanta paper about the savior and messiah, Barak Obama:
""Without truly realizing it, they (Europe) love him because he represents a weaker America — an America more willing to listen to European hand-wringing, less prone to bullying, less determined to fight international terrorism, less inclined to topple brutal dictators, and overall less likely to hold a mirror to European hypocrisy and cynicism," said Patrick Keller, coordinator of foreign and security policy at the Konrad Adenauer Foundation in Berlin."
Just what I want... a weaker America. "Vote Obama for a weak America" - that is a slogan I can believe in.
